still there?
November 17, 2010
its been over a year since my last post. i should be ashamed of that. infact i am ashamed, but then trying to combine blogging and academics aint so easy in nigeria. so what have we missed?
we’ve seen our squad mature into as side that does not get kicked off the park. this is evident in the fact that we have the best away record in terms of points gained in the league. despite united not losing, they havent been exceptional on their travels, having had numerous letoffs.
how ever its our homeform that leaves much to be desired. two losses at home to lowly teams like westbrom and newcastle have seen us sitting in second instead of being on top. this could be attributed to the lacklustre home support, who are often very quick to boo our players when we arent 3-0 up in 20mins. these sort of expectations place a lot of pressure on the younger players and may lead to errors in their game.thats why most of the players feel more comfortble playing away.
other develoments have seen d rapid development of jack the lad and the heartwarming performances of chamakh. our much improved squad depth and goalkeeper situation is also very encouraging.
so its d spuds dis weekend , bring em on….
i think you need a helping hand. this cant be the official website of arsenal fc fans in nig. its totally unacceptable, the colour, graphics, news and everything. if you dont mind i can give a help hand only if you wont mind.
